The owner, Brett, is a seasoned tutor with experience at five Boston-area colleges. Along with the business, she is a Lecturer of English at Northeastern University & a doctoral candidate at Northeastern University. She also teaches courses in the MBA Program at Assumption College. In addition, she has been published in the more academic Shakespeare in Southern Africa as well as the more casual Huffington Post and Los Angeles Times. She graduated from Assumption College with a B.A. in Global Studies as well as UMass Boston with an M.A. in English Composition. A certified master tutor through the College Reading and Learning Association, she tutors writing, study skills, homework support, & test prep.

Brianna is an experienced middle and high school history teacher with her professional teaching license, as well as a private tutor. She earned her B.A. in history and political science with a concentration in middle/secondary education from Assumption College and her M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction from Boston College.  She tutors students in writing, history, study skills, and organization. 


Alessandra is a speech-language pathologist who spends her day working with elementary school children. She graduated from Princeton University in 2012 and got her masters degree from Boston University in 2014. She loves to read, play with her cats, and teach Zumba in her free time. Alessandra tutors in a variety of subjects and specializes in math, science, study skills, and test prep.

Linda is a Massachusetts native who earned a B.S. in physics at UMass Amherst, graduating with multiple departmental physics awards and published research on liquid crystals. Passionate about advocacy, she began tutoring in college where she became CRLA certified and piloted a tutoring program focused on time management and study skills. In her free time, Linda is an avid meal-prepper, loves to be outside with her best friend (lab/husky mix puppy) Nathan, enjoys acrylic painting, and is a total ultimate frisbee nerd. She is excited to begin medical school in the fall of 2022. 


Dan is a certified teacher in Massachusetts with his license in History at the middle school and high school levels. Dan is a graduate of the Commonwealth Honors College at UMass Amherst, where he majored in History, writing his honors thesis on love in Samurai society, and earning a BA in History with high honors. He remained at UMass and earned a Masters of Education degree while taking graduate level classes in History. A Mensa member, Dan excels in mathematics and in coaching the college essay writing process. When he is not tutoring, Dan enjoys reading horror, fantasy and sci-fi novels, lifting weights, and looking at videos and pictures of adorable cats on the internet.  


Kat graduated from the College of the Holy Cross with a major in Mathematics and her teaching licensure in 5-12 Mathematics. She is a middle school math teacher in Lawrence, MA and will be working towards a master's degree in the near future. Kat enjoys being involved in athletics and exploring Boston in her free time. She specializes in tutoring math, study skills, and test prep. 


Charlotte is a graduate of Saint Michaels College and Northeastern University. She has been a a middle school and elementary teacher since 2011 and loves teaching students of all ages. She studied Spanish throughout high school and college and had the opportunity to learn and study in Madrid, Spain. She holds a B.A. in Spanish Language, an M.A. in Teaching, and C.A.G.S. in Education. Charlotte specializes in elementary and middle school Spanish, literacy, and homework support.
